I'm a down to earth gypsy

I'm the sort of person that is so down to earth, I have dirt under my finger nails. 

Well, I would have dirt under my nails if I didn't bite them all the time.

I had to get up at 6am this morning to take my car in to get serviced. After going to bed at just after 1am I was obviously very tired in the morning. One of the mechanics told me that I looked pretty beat, and I told him that I was running on less than 5 hours sleep. 

His reply? "What the?.. were you raised by gypsies or something?"

I don't really get the reference that he was trying to make.. but I did have a laugh! - I think it's time for bed now.

First off, a little bit about me! - My name is Joshua Fraser, I'm a 22 year old living in Perth, Australia (The most isolated city in the world!). I recently got a new job working on the tarmac at the domestic/international airport here in Perth after working as a marketing assistant for 3 years, as well as a bakers assistant for 5!

I spend my free time with my friends, watching movies or playing my guitar. At least I like to think I do.. I spend most of my free time just lying in bed.. But I'll try and lead a more interesting life now so that I have more to blog about!

I guess you might be wondering why I have decided to blog? - Well the short answer is, I just bought a Macbook, and this is what all Mac owners seem to do. Actually truth be told, I have wanted to start up blogging again for a while, I like to share stories and experiences that I have. I love it even more when people seem to actually care and listen! - But getting the Macbook was the main reason..

I actually saw the Macbook at an auction and decided to bid $130 and would you believe it, I won!. It's in mint condition and is only a few years old! (2010 model).. I've been a PC user my whole life, so I have a lot to learn on how to actually use this thing, but I'm getting there! - See, told you I like to share stories.

So now.. Whats that you ask? What will I be blogging about? - Well, I guess I will be sharing stories and experiences I have in my life. I like to think that I am very easy going and don't ever get mad so I hope to be able to share the lighter side of things. But I guess we will see where this goes and where I decide to take it!

I like to think that what I write will put a smile on your face as you drink your morning coffee or sit and read during your lunch break. Who knows, I might be able to somehow inspire others to do better in life. I will do my best to make sure this blog will only be light reading, I don't want to make you feel like you've read a novel every time you read one of my posts.
